1.  How do I know when the Fyrite fluid needs to be replaced

After a test is completed, invert the sample bottle two additional times.  If the level of the liquid rises, the fluid needs to be replaced.

2.  What can I do if the fluid level is below the zero mark on the sliding scale?

Occasionally, enough water will evaporate from the fyrite fluid to reduce the volume below the zero mark on the scale.  Simply add a few drops (it doesn't take much) of water to the fluid.

3.  How long should the fyrite fluid last?

When measuring CO2 (red fluid) at 10%, the fluid should be capable of 300 to 350 tests.

The O2 fluid (blue fluid) at 10%, the fluid should be capable of 100 to 125 tests.  If the O2 fluid becomes green in color, it should be replaced.
