Configuring the Fyrite Pro 125*

*  This information is provided in addition to the manual included with the instrument and not to be considered all inclusive.  Do read the manual.  To download a copy of the Operator's Manual in Adobe Reader - a .pdf file, click here.

Configure the Temperature, Carbon Monoxide and Pressure readings in the instrument by pressing the HOLD and I/O buttons at the same time.  The hose and probe assembly does not need to be plugged in for this procedure.

The first screen selects Fahrenheit  or Centigrade for the temperature reading.  Press the scroll up/down button to make your selection and then press ENTER.

The next screen that comes up determines how the instrument will read carbon monoxide levels after the 60 second warm up period.

A2 means that the instrument will do an 'automatic' calibration during the 60 second warm up period.  This means that the instrument will read 0ppm's irregardless of the ambient CO levels.  Should ambient CO levels be in excess of approximately 80ppm's, the instrument will read CO sensor error once the warm up period has been completed.

2Ero means the instrument will do a 'manual' calibration during that period of time.  Manual calibration means that once the 60 second warm is complete, it will read actual CO levels.  For protection in a potentially contaminated environment, this is the configuration we recommend.

no disables the CO reading.

Press ENTER to make your selection.

The next screen that comes up selects the unit of measurement the instrument uses to measure pressure.

Press the scroll button until the desired unit of measurement reads in the display and press ENTER.

Press the I/O button to exit the configuration mode.
