Fyrite Pro Pump Upgrade

This section describes how to replacre the Fyrite Pro's pump and tubing with the material contained in the Upgrade Kit (Part # 24-3048).

Access the pump as described here.

If you have a Pro 125 (with pressure sensor), you can unplug the pressure sensor to make access to the pump easier.

Disconnect and remove all tubing connected to the pump and O2 sensor.

Install the new pump supplied in the kit using the strap and screw removed from the original pump.

Connect the tubing in the kit as shown in the photo below.

Reassemble the instrument making certain that you plug the pressure sensor back in.

Peal off the old Identification Label from the back of the cover making sure you remove all the glue residue from the surface.

Remove the paper backing from the supplied Fuel Code Label and attach it to the new Identification Label - also transfer the Serial Number to the new label.

Remove the paper backing from the new Identification Label and install secure making sure to locate the exhaust hole as shown below.

As the new flow path for the combustion gases will effect the CO sensor calibration, recalibrate as described here.
