O2 Sensor Zero Calibration
To zero the oxygen sensor you will need a tank of 99.999% pure Nitrogen and the calibration kit.
With the instrument in fresh air enter the calibration mode and press the (ENTER) key until "O2" is displayed in the lower left side of the display.
Allow the instrument to sample fresh air for at least 1 minute - be careful that you don't exhale near the intake port, you may even want to plug in the hose assembly and let it pull in air from the floor or several feet away on the table.
Use the SCROLL UP or SCROLL DOWN keys to adjust the display to 20.9.
Set up the calibration kit with the N2 as described in the instructions.
Connect the Calibration Kit tubing to the inlet of the analyzer and adjust the regulator for approximately 2 SCFH of excess flow.
After the instrument has stabilized (2 to 3 minutes) use the SCROLL UP and SCROLL DOWN button to adjust the displayed value to 0.0% O2.
Turn off the gas flow and disconnect the tubing from the instrument.
Allow the instrument to purge until the reading returns to 20.9% O2.
If it does not return, use the SCROLL UP and/or SCROLL DOWN keys to adjust to 20.9%, apply the Nitrogen calibration gas again to verify the span.
Once the span is properly adjusted, press ENTER to store the changes and move on to the next calibration screen or press the I/O key to exit the calibration mode without saving the changes.
